How do I add SuiteCRM to ChatGPT?

Turn on developer mode in ChatGPT’s settings. On business workspaces an admin may need to allow it first.
Create a custom connector and paste your address. It ends in your company code, which you get when you start the trial.
Choose OAuth as the authentication and sign in with your SuiteCRM username and password. We use it once and never store it.
Ask. “What is open for BlueRiver?” Review each change it proposes before you confirm it.

How is this different from other SuiteCRM ChatGPT integrations?

A search for “SuiteCRM ChatGPT integration” mostly finds two things. Add-ons in the SuiteCRM Store run inside the CRM and send text to OpenAI with your own API key, to summarise a record or draft an email. Automation platforms pass data between SuiteCRM and the OpenAI API in recipes you build. Both work from the CRM outward.
